Health Center 
Centrally located in Coles County, the Health
Center is a 207-bed not-for-profit regional medical facility. The Health Center
and members of its medical staff provide a full range of acute care, extended
care and out-patient services to the approximately 175,000 residents of Coles
and surrounding counties.
Health center services include a Regional Cancer Center certified by the
American College of Surgeons, a Level II Perinatal Health Unit, a 24-hour
Emergency Department, a 23-bed hospital-based Skilled Nursing Unit, an
Ambulatory Care Department, Critical Care and Monitored Care Units and a 25-bed
Regional Psychiatric Center.
Sarah Bush Lincoln is a friend to local business and industry. The Health
Center offers an Occupational Health and Wellness program to benefit local
employers in keeping health insurance costs and workers compensation down to a
minimum. Sarah Bush Lincoln will work together with you to build a customized

Council on Vocational Education.
Health Care Education
While health care courses are taught at Eastern Illinois
University and Lake Land College, Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center assists by
providing a mentoring program in the work place. Students gain valuable
experience through daily activities at the Health Center.
